2 Night - Fall Getaway


Day 1

Morning:

Arrive in Whistler from YVR via a 2.5-hour drive with Whistler shuttle along the scenic Sea to Sky Highway.

Afternoon:

This afternoon, guests can enjoy Whistler’s local parks and lakes by either biking or hiking. For an easy adventure, Lost Lake is a great option just 5km roundtrip from the Whistler Village and has a bunch of different cross-country biking and walking trails to pick from that look spectacular with the changing autumn colours!

Evening:

Tonight guests can discover one of Whistler’s newest evening attraction - Vallea Lumina. Moment Factory, a global leader in video, lighting, sound and special effects will bring Whistler’s forests to life with a brand new Lumina experience, heightening the natural landscape with multimedia to create a world filled with adventure and enchantment. Vallea Lumina is a 1.5 km pathway through an old-growth forest that will take visitors of all ages on an hour-long night walk in pursuit of hidden wonders, telling a story that unfolds in chapters along the way.


Day 2

Morning:

Take a closer look at Blackcomb Mountain on Canadian Wilderness Adventure’s Jeep 4×4 Safari! No two tours are the same as the changing mountain colours and wildlife create new paths for exploration. Ascend from Whistler Valley past glacier fed rivers. Guests can enjoy spectacular views of the Whistler Village and the Coast Mountain Range, as a professional driver navigates Blackcomb is winding trail system.

Afternoon:

Walk the new Cultural Connector to find the Squamish Lil’Wat Cultural Centre, the Whistler Museum, the Audian Art Museum and galleries featuring fine art and local artists, and performance venues. The Audain is now home to an impressive Permanent Collection of nearly 200 works of British Columbia art, from the traditional art of the province’s First Peoples, through to its contemporary masters. The Museum also houses visiting Special Exhibitions from around the world. The 56,000 square-foot museum designed by Patkau Architects integrates seamlessly into its natural forested surroundings. The Award Winning Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre is Whistler’s most unique and spectacular First Nations venue, located in the Upper Village and close to every luxury amenity. It show cases the history, art, and culture of both the Squamish and Lil’wat First Nations who have coexisted in the Sea to Sky Corridor since time immemorial. It’s a history best heard from one of their ambassadors and guided tours happen hourly. They include a traditional welcome song, short film, and the chance to create a take-home keepsake.

Evening:

Whistler is a mecca for great food outlets with many dining choices. If guests’ cannot decide, a great option is a Whistler Tasting Tour, where they can experience a range of Whistler’s best restaurants in one night! During this guided 3-hour walking tour, guests can enjoy a full four-course dinner at an array of restaurants and each course can be expertly paired with a fine British Columbian wine.


Day 3

Morning:

Leave the crowds of Whistler village behind as you adventure into the wild in style in one of the world’s most capable 4x4 vehicles on a 3 hour bear viewing tour with Whistler Photo Safari’s. This intimate excursion focuses on the Whistler Olympic Park resident black bears and their cubs, as well as the famed 2010 Olympic venue itself. With after-hours access to the Olympic Park and exclusive privilege to drive on the 2010 Olympic Legacy Trail network, guests will experience amazing private lookouts, lakes, waterfalls, wildlife, bear dens and a once in a lifetime view from the top of the Olympic ski jumps.

Afternoon:

Before heading back to the airport/ downtown Vancouver, have your guests stop in and try their hand at Axe throwing! Forged Axe throwing offers one-hour sessions daily, where guests can sharpen their skills and learn the basics, which will have them getting a bullseye in no time!.
