3 Night - Spring Getaway


Day 1

Morning:

Arrive in Whistler from YVR via a 2.5-hour drive with Whistler shuttle along the scenic Sea to Sky Highway.

Afternoon:

This afternoon is all about Whistlers famous alpine and enjoying the sights from the Whistler Village Gondola, which will now be open for guests to enjoy the whole of spring (the Peak to Peak is open until April 19th and will reopen mid-May for the Summer season). This activity will take anywhere from 1.5-3 hours or if you are up for a Spring Ski, Whistler’s ski lifts are open until May 25th to get in some sunshine laps on the slopes! If you have time, stop for a beverage at the Umbrella bar on top of Whistler Mountain for some spectacular valley views.

Late Afternoon:

In Whistler, we après everything! Guests can take a pick from all the sunny patios throughout Whistler village and settle in the for the afternoon in the spring sunshine with a cold beverage, snacks (highly recommend tackling a large pile of Nachos) and live tunes.


Day 2

Morning:

Start the morning off with an educational and exhilarating Zip line tour with either Superfly or Ziptrek Ecotours. Tours range from 2.5-5 hours in duration with a range of courses to choose from beginner to extreme! Zip lining is open in Whistler 365 days a year and is an activity kids as young as 6 can enjoy. For those that prefer a light adventure (or families with younger children), the Tree Trek Canopy Walk offers a guided interpretive adventure across a stunning network of suspension bridges, suspended stairways, boardwalks with no zipping required.

Afternoon:

Guests 19+ can then grab their bathing suits and sandals and spend the afternoon relaxing at the Scandinave Spa. Set within a peaceful spruce and cedar forest, this 25,000 square foot outdoor day spa is a Nordic-inspired oasis of calm, which offers the experience of hydrotherapy in the heart of nature. Allow a few hours to follow the cycle to soothe tired muscles, eliminate toxins and improve circulation. The Scandinave Spa is open daily from 10am until 9pm.

Evening:

Can't decide on one restaurant why not join Whistler Tasting Tours? Guests can experience a range of Whistler’s best restaurants in one night! During this guided 3-hour walking tour, guests can enjoy a full four-course dinner at an array of restaurants and each course can be expertly paired with a fine British Columbian wine.


Day 3

Morning:

Guests can start their morning off with a Birdseye view of Whistler with Blackcomb Helicopters. The helicopter will land for guests to experience the once in a lifetime chance of stepping out onto a 12,000-year-old glacier on Rainbow Mountain. The BC experience is a 24-minute flight with a 15-minute glacier landing.

Afternoon:

Walk the new Cultural Connector to find the Squamish Lil’Wat Cultural Centre, the Whistler Museum, the Audian Art Museum and galleries featuring fine art and local artists, and performance venues.

Evening:

After dinner, guests can try their puzzle solving skills with Escape! Whistler. A Live Escape Room is a real life gaming experience where groups of 2 to 6 people are placed inside a themed room. Your group will be presented with puzzles, riddles, and clues which you must work together to solve within 45 minutes in order to “Escape” from the situation you are in. Escape! Whistler is an excellent indoor activity for people of all ages looking for an exciting way to spend an hour. All of their themes are family friendly and non-weather dependent.


Day 4

Morning:

Guests finish off their vacation by dusting off their clubs or rent at any of Whistler’s four championship courses from four of the worlds top designers. Whistler’s golf courses are usually open from May until late October and all offer a driving range to warm up your swing and golf cart rentals on site.

Afternoon:

Before heading back to Vancouver or the airport, stop at the golf courses clubhouse’s for a great patio lunch.
